Alexis Flores
Counselor in Training and Masters Student (Liberty University, Clinical Mental Health Counseling)
I believe that we all need a safe place to process, to be heard, and to be fully ourselves. As a counselor, my goal is to provide a space where you can share how you feel and what you truly think without judgement. I don’t believe deep healing can happen until we are honest with ourselves and acknowledge the parts of our story that feel difficult to face. I want to partner with you in achieving your goals for counseling and offer encouragement, accountability, and a consistent, supportive presence.
Alexis is currently earning her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Alexis works from a Cognitive Behavioral foundation (CBT) and incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and existential approaches. She desires to explore the connection between patients’ thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, build skills for navigating challenges, and make space for meaning, identity, and what matters most to them.
Alexis values authenticity, empathy, and hope. She desires for her patients to experience healing and freedom through the counseling process. She will meet you with curiosity, compassion, and genuineness. Alexis firmly believes that no one is meant to navigate life alone, and she would be honored to walk alongside patients in their journey.
