Alyse Culpepper, M.A., LMFT

Marriage and Family Therapist

Since before I can remember I have always been so interested in the workings of the human heart and mind. I understand the impact on our heart and mind are as varied as our personalities. In my counseling practice I seek to understand my clients from a holistic approach including mind, body and spirit. As a Christian I enjoy integrating my faith into my work with clients but have worked with people of all backgrounds. Overall, I seek to meet my clients where they are and together face the pain, heartache, and anxieties that life creates.

Alyse is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist holding two licenses in Idaho and California.  Alyse has her master’s degree in Counseling from Western Seminary as well as her bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry with a double minor of Psychology and Theology from William Jessup University. As a part of Alyse’s clinical training, she has experience working with individuals of all age groups dealing with issues such trauma, abuse, anxiety, minor addictions and life-transitions.

Having served in various ministry positions has provided Alyse with a passion for integrating faith into her counseling practice. She is passionate about creating and holding a safe space for others as they walk through the challenges that life can bring. Alyse utilizes an eclectic approach to her counseling practice often drawing on the strengths of the client to achieve their goals. Alyse is trained in EMDR and enjoys working with individual clients struggling with anxiety, trauma and life transitions.
