
Dr. Lynn Bohecker, Ph.D., LMFT

Dr. Bohecker specializes in counselor education, clinical supervision, and marriage and family therapy. She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Counseling and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Idaho and Utah. She is a registered clinical supervisor in the state of Idaho and a nationally credentialed AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Dr. Bohecker has taught counselor education in secular and faith-based institutions of higher education and is core faculty and the Director of the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Liberty University. Her teaching interests include CACREP core courses, marriage and family specialization, research and assessment, and practicum and internship faculty supervision courses. Her research interests include an emphasis on spirituality and religion in counseling, group work, and counselor identity. In practice, Dr. Bohecker specializes in trauma and working with families. She has held leadership positions in the counseling field, has presented at the national, regional, and state level, and has numerous publications.
